Partitioning Your USB Thumb Drive
Say you want to have to separate partitions for your USB device. I’m going to show you how to accomplish that. It is a simple process that can be completed in under 5 minutes.
First, I reccommend making a backup of your thumb drive, because when you partition your thumb drive, it formats it (this means any data on the drive is erased). So, go ahead and make a folder on your desktop and copy all of your thumb drive’s files to it.
Next, you will want to download the BootIt tool. This can be downloaded freely from here. Once you have opened BootIt, make sure your drive is connected (it should show up on the left side of the BootIt window). Then, click on Flip Removable Bit. Once completed, it will tell you to remove and re-insert your drive. After doing that, your flash drive will now longer show up as Removable Media. It will show up as a removable drive.
Now, go to Start, then Run. Type diskmgmt.msc and hit enter. From here, left click your drive in the top window, then right click it in the bottom box. From there, select Delete Partition. After doing so, right click it again (it should have the drive capacity and it should say unallocated under that) and select New Partion.

Follow the on-screen instructions. For the first option, select Primary Drive. Then make sure the format is FAT32. If you like, you can also specify a name for your drive. After that, any remaining space will show up in the bottom box to the right of your newly created partition. You can follow the same steps on that to create a new partition.
It’s up to you about what you decide to do with your partitions. I put Ubuntu Linux on one of mine. I would reccommend that.
Enjoy!
Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xsi Camera

Wow! This baby packs a punch! Canon recently put their shiny new toy on the market and it has definitely impressed. Getting editor’s top pick award from PC World, it is guaranteed to give you functionality for a reasonable price.
While most of us may not be the ‘hardcore photographer’, those of you who are will really fall in love with this camera. With 12.2 Megapixels and a 3X optical zoom, this camera will not dissappoint. And for only $899, you definitely can’t pass this up if you are the kind of person who loves photography. This is also perfect for beginners because of its price. Check it out.
